A huge thanks to Bill Bruffey,
Ed Parks, Pat McLaughlin, Brandy Busbee, Jessica Pecen and Caitlin McLaughlin
for their exhaustive work in supporting the riders (Sandra Schluter, Teresa
Harwell, Elaine Andrews, Michelle Pecen, Mary Patient, Timothy Patient, Katlyn
Stevenson and Ashley Stevenson) this past Saturday at the National Horse Show.
Performances such as the National Horse Show and the South Florida Fair (just
to name a couple) are tremendous Community Relations opportunities for not only
our club, but the Mustang Breed as a whole. The ground crew and the riders are
equally important to the success of these activities.
The South Florida
Mustang Club gave a tremendous performance and was a crowd pleaser. The
spectators (large crowd) were very impressed with how well versed our breed
performed and how well we displayed their culture and in costume. Bill Bruffey
narrated the entire drill with precision. When Elaine rounded the well
manicured arena tending our Country's Flag as the anthem played the crowd stood
at allegiance. Tears were in many eyes. It is a lot of work and time to get
ready, but it is so much easier when so many members pitch in to help out.
Great job by these 14 folks. - tpp
